Here, within this Oregon Sunstone, Derek has fashioned a framework of arching lines warmed by a coppery shiller glow. Our advice? Use caution not to get branded when handling The Sizzler. It’s hot!

Derek blends his skill at cutting gemstones with the artistry of his jewelry work. We wanted to know if Derek found that the design of a piece of jewelry came ahead of the stone cutting, or did the design of a stone lead to a great jewelry design.
